What can I to do if my USB Update Failsthe AirID Firmware update using USB fails?

Apart from the common ways to update your AirID, there is a 3rd option.

Now open your Windows Device Manager ( 'Windows Key' + 'X' > 'M' )
if your device manager shows your AirID as follows everything is correct and the update should work just as expected:
if the device gets as shown below here please follow the steps below:

In the above shown device manager - right click und the AirID USB Flasher and select propertie
- go to the drivers tab and select update driver
- select 2nd option "Browse my computer for drivers"
- select "let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
- on the next page finish the setup by clicking "the next button" - normally this should only select and present "WindUSB Device" as driver
- Now the setup should run through and after a success screen the "AirID USB Flasher" should be listed normally like
- now without unplugging your AirID run the "winusb_flash_device.exe" again, this time it should work.
