The most likely cause that cgPhone is not work via WLAN is that there is heavy filtering and the phone is not allowed to establish an outgoing TCP connection to cgphone01.certgateAirID.net:5061.

If that is the case it is also quite likely that it won’t be able to establish an RTP connection either. Provisioning which uses https apparently seems to work then.

Tip

f people can’t use their phones from within a corporate network please ask their system administrator to allow connections to cgphone01.certgateAirID.net on the following ports:

  1. TCP: 443 (provisioning), 5061 (SIP/TLS)
  2. UDP: 10000 to 25000 (RTP streams)

When using SIP trunking services we also need port 5060 UDP for SIP/UDP.

cgphone01.certgateAirID.net uses the following IP's : 94.130.46.131 and  94.130.46.125
