How can I to switch between GIDS Applet and cv Applet on a smart card in Windows 10?

If you want to use a certificate from the GIDS applet, you will have to follow these steps:

- Open "Run" with "Windows Logo Key + R".
- In the "Run"-window enter regedit and press enter key.
- In the Registry Editor change to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Calais".
- You should see the registry entry "IDMP ATR Cache".
- Move with the mouse over "IDMP ATR Cache" and click with the right mouse button.
- Select "Delete" from the context menu.
- Close the Registry Editor.
- Open "Run" with "Windows Logo Key + R".
- In the "Run"-window enter certmgr.msc and press enter key.
- In the window "certmgr" click the arrow left from "Personal" and mark "Certificates".
- You should see in the right area all personal certificates, which are registered with your computer.
- Mark the certificates, which are saved in the GIDS Applet and click the red x from the menu bar.
- Close the window "certmgr".
These additional steps are only necessary for Windows 10 with 64 Bit-system type: - Open "Run" with "Windows Logo Key + R".
- In the "Run"-window enter regedit and press enter key.
- In the Registry Editor change to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Cryptography\Calais".
- If you see the registry entry "IDMP ATR Cache", then follow the next steps, otherwise close the Registry Editor.
- Move with the mouse over "IDMP ATR Cache" and click with the right mouse button.
- Select "Delete" from the context menu.
- Close the Registry Editor.
