Register your AirID FIDO in your desired 'Application'

'Application' means services such as Facebook, Twitter, Binance, Github a short selection of Applications

can be found on our https://airid.com/en/airid-fido/ Page

Name your AirID FIDO in destined 'Application'

Applications tend to ask for a self entered device name correlating to your AirID FIDO.

This is completly free of choice and is aimed to help you recognize the token you've chosen later on.

What even is FIDO

FIDO challenges a whole industry.

Instead of having passwords, or password managers for all sorts of 'applications' such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, 1Password, Github, Binance.

Each app gets their own individual security key, stored inside your AirID FIDO.

How can I Backup my AirID FIDO

FIDO by design is made so that it is not possible to export the stored keys.

Instead a secondary strong authentication is advised.

This can be annother AirID FIDO security key or a certificate based authentication (Smartcard).

But I want to use AirID FIDO for my Windows Log on

Dont worry we got you covered on this as well, however. for you as a user the task will remain the same, but your Admin will probably have to enable a few settings, forthis we got you covered in our Microsoft Passwordless section, which can be found here.

Where can I find more on this Topic?

Since FIDO is new to most we dedicated a whole section to this topic which can be found here.
