This guide explains all the basics of ONEKEY BRIDGE and gives you step-by-steps instructions to get you started using it. Please take the time to read the information and follow carefully the instructions and recommendations of the installation process.

Hardware Features


With the ONEKEY BRIDGE, certgate‘s wireless smartcard readers* can also be used with devices that do not support Bluetooth low-energy by default, such as Bluetooth devices with Windows 7 or Linux thin clients. Connected directly to a USB port, it enables wireless communication - without driver installation. For example, also for macOS and other platforms.

  • Able to connect up to ? devices at the same time 
  • Miniature dimensions: 48 mm x 37,5 mm x 14 mm
  • Detection of OKBRIDGE as a standard CCID card reader
  • Supported operating systems: Windows 7, 8, 10, macOS (min 10.12) and Linux (plug&play requires libccid 1.4.28)


Choose Your Platform


Windows 10

In this section, you will find the steps to connect your AirID or ONEKEY ID reader with the ONEKEY BRIDGE USB Bluetooth connector. ONEKEY BRIDGE enables the use of AirID and ONEKEY ID on devices without BLE.

Prerequisites

  • Computer running Windows 10
  • AirID Central App installed


Locate a free USB port on your computer and insert the USB Bluetooth connector, OKBRIDGE.

Move the mouse to the AirID Central app icon in the notification area. Then click the mouse right button and choose OKBRIDGE

Select the AirID (serial number) which you want to pair with the OKBRIDGE in the shown device list. Click Connect

If the serial number of your AirID is not displayed, click Search, to start a new searching.

Windows 7

In this section, you will find the steps to connect your AirID or ONEKEY ID reader with the ONEKEY BRIDGE USB Bluetooth connector. ONEKEY BRIDGE enables the use of AirID and ONEKEY ID on devices without BLE.

Prerequisites

  • Computer running Windows 7 OS
  • ONEKEY BRIDGE driver updated
  • AirID Central App installed


Locate a free USB port on your computer and insert the USB Bluetooth connector, OKBRIDGE.

Download the latest driver (winusbcompat.zip file) for Windows 7 at ONEKEY BRIDGE - Driver and unzip the file.

Open Windows Device Manager (open the Start Menu and search for "device manager")

Double click on ONEKEY Bridge Ctl (oder CCID ???) in the Other devices branch.

In the opened window "ONEKEY Bridge Properties" click on "Update Driver"

Select "Browse my computer for driver software", click "Browse" to find the location of the downloaded driver file (from step 2) and click Next to install the driver

Close the window "Driver update". The ONEKEY BRIDGE Driver has been installed.

Move the mouse to the AirID Central app icon in the notification area. Then click the mouse right button and choose OKBRIDGE
