Deactivation requires changes in the registry and should only be done by experienced users or administrators!
To disable the automatic check for firmware updates, please follow the steps below:

- Open the registry editor on your Windows device and allow changes
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\certgate GmbH\AirID Central
- Click Edit > New > String Value
- Enter the name updateServerUrl and the value https://localhost/none.xml
- Restart your Windows device to apply the changes
