How can I disable the automatic check for firmware updates in the AirID Central on my Windows device? In general, the automatic check for firmware updates is enabled.

Deactivation requires changes in the registry and should only be done by experienced users or administrators!


To disable the automatic check for firmware updates, please follow the steps below:


Step-by-Step

  1. Open the registry editor on your Windows device and allow changes
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\certgate GmbH\AirID Central
  3. Click Edit > New > String Value
  4. Enter the name updateServerUrl and the value https://localhost/none.xml
  5. Restart your Windows device to apply the changes
