The client components of AirID Virtual are available as a standard Windows installer via our download page.

There are several ways on how to distribute and install them

  1. Distribution of the *.msi package with any Enterprise Software Delivery (ESD) solution and automated install (preferred)

  2. Direct download of the executables from a central repository by the user and manual installation (may be error prone, thus not advisable)

For guidance on how to setup the deployment using Microsoft Group Policies please consult the documentation provided by Microsoft. The provided installer is capable of silent installs.

Hardware Requirements

Basically, each and any client hardware that is capable of running Windows 10 is able to be used with AirID Virtual. Preferably, the device features an on-board Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface. If there is no on-board Bluetooth interface available there are a USB dongles that act like built in BLE interfaces. To make sure your USB dongle works with AirID Virtual, please contact our support and provide the make and model of your dongle.

Note: Older versions of Windows are supported through a customized USB dongle based build of AirID Virtual. Please contact our customer service desk if you need support for older versions.
