Step-by-Step

Create Token Profile

    1. Start cv act sc/interface Manager and select under "Slots" the Smartcard Reader for the used smart card.
    2. Upon in the menu bar click "Manager" and select "Create Token Profile".
    3. The window "Create Token Profile" appears.
    4. Fill in the necessary fields "Token Label", "SO PIN", "Confirm SO PIN", "User PIN", "Confirm User PIN" and "Challenge Response PIN" with valid values, check the checkboxes "Use Hardware SN", "Challenge Response PIN" and "Minidriver compatible" and click "OK".


Login

    1. Start cv act sc/interface Manager and click the label name of the smartcard under "Slots".
    2. Upon in the menu bar click "Token" and select "Login".
    3. In the window "Login" enter the User PIN of the smart card and click "OK".

Import certificate

    1. Upon in the menu bar click "Key Pair" and select "Import Key Pair from PFX-File".
    2. In the window "Choose a PKCS#12 (pfx) file" change to the directory, where the pfx-file is.
    3. After the desired key pair is chosen, click "Open".
    4. The window "PFX password" will appear.
    5. Enter the password for the private key and click "OK".
    6. A few seconds later the window "Confirm: Do you wish to register the certificates on this token?".
    7. Click "Yes".
    8. After that you will find the imported Key Pair under the token.
